Evan Townsend's True South Proposal

Also colloquially known as the New Antarctic Flag

This flag was proposed in 2018 and has grown in popularity highly since then. It has been adopted by multiple Antarctica-affiliated organizations, missions and programs.

Emblem of the Antarctic Treaty

The Antarctic Treaty, dedicated to the preservation of the Antarctic Continent, adopted an official emblem in 2002. This is the closest thing to a proper legal Antarctic flag.

Graham Bertram's Proposal

This flag was designed by Graham Bertram for a 3D World Atlas program. It is by far the most popular and most widely recognized Antarctic flag. It is the generally used design for the Antarctic Flag Emoji (๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ถ) on supported platforms as well.

Antarctic Flag (RRS Discovery, 1929)

On an expedition to Antarctica on the RRS Discovery, a white cloth was flown alongside the Union Jack and the Australian flag. It was referred to as the "Antarctic flag" by The Times in an August 1929 paper.
