Flag of Slovakia

• Used from 1938 - 1992

This was used as a flag of Slovakian subdivisions from 1938 to 1992, including the Autonomous Land of Slovakia ( Czechoslovakia), First Slovak Republic ( Nazi Germany), Slovak Socialist Republic ( Czechoslovakia), and the Slovak Republic ( Czechoslovakia). It is identical to the current flag of the Russian Federation.

Flags used during the Slovak uprising

• Used from 1848 - 1849
• Used as an oppositional flag

These were never used as national flags, though rather as the most commonly used flags during Slovak nationalist protests in Austria & Hungary of 1848 - 1849, the latter of which was proposed by 'Žiadosti slovenského národa', a manifesto published during said protests, as a flag for a potential Slovak nation.
